Our excitement for Julia and Troy’s wedding began the night before their special day as their tables were set at their wedding reception venue. Their centrepieces, cozy pine cones and pine needles nestled against rustic black lanterns, transformed the Chalet into a romantic woodland haven. As we placed the name cards of every single guest that would be with Julia and Troy on their wedding day, we were filled with anticipation on what their special day would be.
When the function began, the guests were welcomed into the reception venue with a small bundle of rosemary tied with a red, white and blue ribbon, a beautiful Croatian wedding tradition that welcomes guests and brings good luck to the wedding couple.
The father and daughter dance was a beautiful moment of the night. As they danced and talked, the love in the family was evident, and it was also clear that they had been best friends all of Julia’s life.
After their playful bouquet toss and cheeky garter toss, they were sent away with a huge applause. At the end of the night, the wishing well was bursting with letters and cards.
