What do you look for in a wedding venue?

Searching for a wedding venue for your wedding sets the tone for the whole event.

The location, the features, the architecture, the food. All of it

The Wattle Park Chalet’s location is actually perfect. A parkland oasis in the middle of suburbia. It’s a close drive from the city and has safe roads and is close distance to all homes in the eastern metropolitan Melbourne.

The features are natural and historic and relevant to the park’s theme. The union tree, the twin trams, the native australian plant and wildlife. A purely Melbourne park.

The architecture also has a duality theme, a mirrored design. We have our famous high roof, dual balconies, authentic wood dancefloor and our magnificent private gardens.

We also have a modern Australian menu, inspired with flavours all over the world. You can choose every single food item, from canapes to desserts, all very tasty and carefully presented.

The Chalet has all these aspects to match its rich history of over 85 years hosting weddings. The original wedding venue, built for your wedding.

When picking a wedding venue, you look for a couple of factors:

The location: Can my guests find it easily and get home safely at night? Is there scenery for photos and free parking for guests?

Features: Where can I take photos and have my ceremony?

The architecture: Does it have preset style, can it fit all my guests, how can I decorate it?

The food: Can I choose all food items for each course? Can they accommodate all dietary requirements? Is the food good?

Alongside these factors you will be checking the availability, price and inclusions to make your wedding a perfect day.
